About Us

B’Yachad is a program that utilizes project-based learning to engage participants in better understanding and exploring their Jewish identity. The program supports grades kindergarten through seven with a curriculum grounded in Jewish values and a focus on creating and building community.

Our program is comprised of two congregations, Columbia Jewish Congregation and Kol Nefesh, as well as families who are currently unaffiliated. We believe that combining in this way offers participants a unique opportunity to learn from and with each other.

The B’Yachad Program

  • Sunday Programming

Our Sunday programming focuses on Jewish values, culture, language, and religion while participants learn together as a community while engaging in camp-style activities.

  • One-on-One Hebrew Tutoring

Participants in grades four and above are paired with an accomplished Hebrew tutor to learn the Aleph-Bet, practice decoding, learn common prayers, and begin the process of preparing for a B’Mitzvah.

Our mission is to foster a love of Jewish learning in your tiny humans, through creative lesson plans and engaging programming.
