Community Building
Our program brings together participants from Columbia Jewish Congregation, Kol Nefesh, and families who are currently unaffiliated.
Each occasion we gather is an opportunity to create joyful connects, learn, and engage together!
Focus on Jewish Values
Our program curriculum is developed around the Jewish values in an effort to engage in learning about Jewish concepts while connecting to how we interact with the world around us. The values provide a springboard into Jewish learning.
Learning Jewish values highlights Judaism’s role in the world we walk each day.
Age-level learning
Our program is curated to differentiate Jewish learning from kindergarten through grade seven. Through story-telling, project-based learning, and engaging camp-style activities, our students explore a variety of aspects of Judaism.
Starting at grade four, student engage in one-on-one Hebrew tutoring to continue their growth.
Grow their love of learning
Each Sunday is an opportunity for your child to embrace a new aspect of their Jewish identity or reflect on those already gained. Through hands-on learning, your child is more likely to remain engaged and to build upon their creative problem-solving skills.
Explore their Jewish identity
While learning about the religion, history, and culture of Judaism, B’Yachad participants are encouraged and supported in exploring how they see themselves within Judaism. Additionally, Participants learn more about others in the Jewish community that they can relate it.
